Learning Space in HTML

These days I am working on converting my Open Memo flash file to HTML so that students can view it on their iPads and iPhones.

You can view it online here on LRW's website.

Legal Research and Writing

My newest job is in Harvard Law School as a Graphic Designer/ New Media Specialist, that gives me the opportunity to work on instructional design and curriculum projects using multimedia. I spent this summer working on a learning web space for a 1L course called Legal Research and Writing (LRW), which is about the use of secondary sources and writing open memos and stuff like that. This website features the interactive space I created using Adobe Flash.

Shoreditch Urban Development Seminar

I took this class called Shoreditch Urban Development Seminar in Fall 2010 at GSD. I worked in a group for this class to work on a site in Shoreditch, London, do market analysis and come up with a proposal for urban design and financial proforma.

Our site was located near the Shoreditch High Street Tube station, at the intersection of High Street and the Great Eastern Street. This area was mostly office and street retail. It had lots of old buildings and under-utilized land, the only new construction in the neighborhood included Bishopsgate and Broadgate Tower designed by SOM.

Our proposal consisted of infill developments, including more street retail, some office and residential buildings and an "anchor" 5-star hotel. We also proposed lots of open spaces and plazas with public art by the local artists.

Harvard College Global Health Review

I joined the board of designers for Harvard College Global Health Review last semester and designed the pages for the interview sections. It was a fun experience working with College students. The full magazine can be found here.
